Ucomposites work in line with EU thematic strategy for prevention and recycling waste but will also contribute to diverting waste from landfill which is an important element in EU policy on improving the use of resources and reducing environmental impacts of waste management.
Ucomposites Carbon Footprint Calculation show that 1 ton of Ucomposites´s UMAFO-01 recycled glass fiber affects the environment with the emissions equivalent to 94 kg Co2 and vs. virgin manufactured glass fiber this is a reduction of carbon emission of 95%.
