Ucomposites will soon open a new manufacturing plant in Northern Portugal. The idea behind the investment is to strengthen Ucomposites’ presence in Southern Europe supplying customers in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Turkey and Brazil.
Reduction of Co2 equivalents (climate change indicator) has played a role in the choice of location. It makes a lot of sense to be close to the raw materials and the production waste and this way minimizing the need for transport across Europe.
Ucomposites Unipessoal, Lda is to be found in a modern 4.000 m2 newly built facility just outside the city of Porto. Ucomposites’ Commercial Manager Diogo Martins puts it this way: “With easy access to the motorway, 15 minutes to Porto Airport and 15 minutes to the city center of Porto, we have found the ideal location for a facility in Portugal. We look forward to welcome new customers and suppliers on board”.
